A holiday in the Mohrenwirt is also about appreciating art, in particular Venosta art by the South Tyrolean artist and friend of the Theiner family, Karl Plattner. There is a permanent exhibition dedicated to him including a unique collection of his expressive and contemporary
works. This can be found in the underpassage connecting both buildings.
Karl Plattner (1919 – 1986) was and remains an internationally important artist. With roots in Venosta, he was also renowned far beyond the borders of South Tyrol.
